Reno was cleaning out some cookbook stuff today and found four leaflet (small magazine type) cooking books from the 30s and 50s - including drinks from the New York World's Fair.

We inherited them quite a few years ago from our grandmother and I can't see myself having a use for them as I have my favorite cookbooks already and I have already transcribed what I want out of them.

Since you also love to cook, I was wondering if you may find use for them. They are highly dated and quite entertaining.

If you don't have an interest in them, I will probably just toss them away. If you do, I would need you to PM me a shipping address.

That sounds completely awesome! I'm a food geek, one of my neighbors is an avid historian, and between the two of us I can think of all KINDS of uses for historically accurate recipe books. ^___^ (Her favorite cookbook is the pre-war edition of the Joy of Cooking, if this gives you an idea how jazzed she'd be to get a chance to read these.)

I think I still have your email address from the computer-sending? I'll send mine along that way. I can chip in for shipping if that'll help?

(BTW, how's the old computer doing? I hope it got there OK and has been useful for y'all!)
