Genesis the person in your system seems very bright and also almost painfully aloof -- not shy, not afraid to put his opinion out there, but afraid to get burned somehow?
Well, you've really pegged that. I think he is afraid to get close to people or let them in. I know that a lot of his mental break started when he was a kid living at home. Of course, the programs made him worse. It has been said that he has come through madness with a screw loose, but I think the madness never really left him - it is there just on the surface - it is just being slowly healed by the presence of those that he considers his friends and family. Our Genesis differs from the game in many ways - one important one being that he shares his body with a planetary being, "Genesis the Being" (much like Vincent was when Chaos was with him).
On an aside, I have heard that the Triplets were modeled after Genesis, Sephiroth and Angeal. Jenova was always aware, even if no one could quite hear her and while she was aware, she saw, she heard and she learned. It's what a creature like that does.
Ah, Gacktesis! Yeah, The Wers' Schuldig made the mistake once of calling Genesis "Gackt-sama" as a joke. I don't think that Genesis has quite warmed up to him. In fact, Genesis will tell you that he looks nothing like Gackt - Gackt is scrawny, the only thing he has going for him is that he can sing and, apparently, he lacks the good sense and taste when it comes to fashion. Yeah. ^___^
Genesis doesn't like me, so I have to stay on the low-down. Since I still want to see Angeal and Sephiroth, I do it away from Genesis for them. But I understand where Genesis is coming from, so I stay respectful.
Fandom...they can play with me all they like. I know the difference between me and the me they write. I am very amused and entertained by it all. So is Aerith. ^_^ (She's one of the biggest fangirls I know!)
Chilies! Chilies are good for you! They keep the colds and flus away and put hair on your chest...er, not that you'd want any hair there, but, yeah...
Bunny rabbits are not harmless...have you seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Bite your head off, man. ^_^
