So what would you like to see next?
Given that the number of ideas I have waiting in line for free time is always a multiple of the amount of free time actually available, what would you like to see get worked on first?

(Note 1: The results of this aren't going to be binding on account of how the amount of work I have left to do on various next-installments varies from "a couple more pages" to "first I have to do the outline and then...", but I will keep it in mind when priority-setting.)

(Note 2: "All of them! All at once!" is just as much not an option as "Naruto," thanks guys. XD There is a reason I used radio buttons rather than ticky boxes.)

Poll #3736 What world would you like to see a ficbit from next?
Open to: All, results viewable to: All

What would you like to be the first thing I work on when I get free time?

Sackiroth! Especially if he has a chance of ZackSack joining him!

XD yeah, ZackSack's all done and got lots of photo time at ACen (including with a person wearing an enormous baby-chocobo-costume, I am officially dead of cute!) And SackCloud's mostly done (top half is done anyhow, still working on bottom half when I can justify sitting down rather than working on the house XD). Mostly it's a case of finding time to construct a narrative to go with the photos I've got and writing up all the HTML...

Akisu, that's the Seph clone with the popsicle fixation, right? :D

Also, I don't suppose you're going to be at A-kon? Because then I could stalk find you and be your art-slave for the duration of the con. *bats eyes*

Yep, that's the one. (it sounds so wrong when you say it that way, too! But it's entirely accurate... I started that quirk due to figuring Moon probably had a bird-like metabolism to go with the wings and hollow bones, possibly hummingbird-like at that, so sugar-syrups and fruits were a good idea and then fudgesicles were an extra bonus on top of that, but when you think about how popsicle fixations are generally used in fanfics, well.... *sweatdrop*)

I've never been to A-kon, unfortunately - I've only been to ACen in Chicago and JAFAX in Michigan, largely due to gas prices and an inherent aversion to loooooooong road trips after too many horrific memories of the 12 hour drive to see the cousins in Iowa every summer when I couldn't even read due to being carsick. ^^;;; This was before in-car DVD players, of course.

One of these days when high-speed net access and webcams are ubiquitous, we need to set up an online con. Like Sackiroth's Photo Adventures only everybody webcams themselves. *ponderponder*

heee - yeah, I need to get back to them too! I don't actually remember which was the next point in their plot arc... although I'm not sure if I ever did the full version of the chocobo ranch fic, or just the prequel and a snippet... hmm...

Just the prequel; I've read it about 80 billion times because I love it so. <3 If you wanted to write the full version, I would be very very excited.

The snippet was one of the bits out of the "gimme prompts and I'll try (and usually fail) to write comment-length" collection from a couple years back? Snippet involved Sephiroth's close encounter with a black chocobo named Magpie who came by her name honestly... and I now have the (nearly) perfect icon for it too! XD

I reread the Furuba/KH stories the other night and official scared my pets and earned the tolerant 'well, we always knew she was crazy' looks from my parents.

Although, elitist Dragon!Seph and Knight!Angeal also powns all.

Mostly though; Can we have some more? (holds out bowl Oliver Twist style)

Should hopefully be done next Tuesday I think? I really hope it works out, on account of I could really use the extra $150 a month I wouldn't have to pay in interest if I do get a lower rate. Haven't found a new renter yet, in part because I'd really like to KNOW the person renting from me...

Yeah, I have to try to figure out where I was going with those. It was both my first prompt-community and my first go at making them all interconnected, but I didn't have the brains to specify in advance an overarching outline giving both the prompt order and the through lines the way I did for 25-streetsigns, so now I'm kinda flailing on what I was doing there. ^^;;;

(And the massive hard drive death of doom that took most of my half-finished ficnotes with it did not help matters any either... right after that hard drive crash was the point where I started Gmailing myself drafts of everything Just In Case, and that tactic has been a wonderful hard drive crash preventative since then...)

^___^ thanks! It's probably going to be longer on that one for three reasons -- one because several of the others have a lot more votes, two because I don't have an outline for the plot arc there, and three because I only have one partial-fic already written and just in need of finishing, as opposed to several outline-to-partial-fics for the others. But I'll put it back into the to-do list somewhere...

Well, it wasn't in the POLL, so of course it doesn't have as many votes. :P But we'll be happy when ever you get it done.

Even if it had been in the poll, the "other things have more votes" answer definitely wouldn't have changed. The Furuba crossover and the dragon fic both have three to five times as many votes as the next runners up. The runners-up (both in the poll and 30 for 3) are all 10 votes or less, as opposed to 30 to 40 for the other two. ^_^;;

Noted! (I think the "other" option is pretty much turning out to be the "30 for 3" option.) As noted above, though, the Furuba and dragon fics are way out front of the vote by a factor of 3-5x...

XD sorry about that? But if I'd put 4 or 5 sets of options in, there'd have been people who cast 5 votes for the same fic; at the moment at least I've been able to limit the "ballot stuffing" to 2 votes for the same fic.

(And yes, those of you who are guilty of ballot stuffing by multivoting for the same fic, you KNOW WHO YOU ARE and, thanks to the poll's vote tracking, SO DO I. XD)
