braggin' rights pt 2: Sackiroth! :3
So, two days ago I didn't remember how to do a single crochet stitch.

By last night, here's what I'd gotten done:

This morning I got one of his arms done and hope to get the other and his hair on today (around mad convention planning of course, but this kind of thing is good for handfidgeting while your brain and mouth are doing something else). Mwahaha!

ETA. waytoolate-oclock: Almost done! He has 3/4 of a skein of yarn on his head, and his hair is too heavy for his neck, so I drove a chopstick through his skull and need to chop it down to length later. (Maybe that explains some things, actually...)

And this may give you some idea of why he needs that cranial chopstick (or stick up his ass, depending on your point of view):

XD He's not bald anymore; he's got 3/4 of a skein of yarn making tons and tons of hair. (His hair is waaaaay too heavy for his neck to support, so now he's got a chopstick through the skull. New pic in the post. :3 I should take a profile pic some time, because his hair is about twice as thick as he is when nothing's holding it down, and this is before the Elmer's glue styling spree likely to be necessary to wrangle the bangs into suitably pointy shape...)

(New picture in the post too! But with all the hair on, his head is wayyyyy too heavy for his neck, so he's got a chopstick through the head to keep him even remotely upright. I keep debating whether I should make the triplets with the leftover yarn - their hair would be short enough that they wouldn't need internal girders just to sit up - but then I realize I really DON'T know what I'm doing with a crochet hook and would have no chance of getting all the stitched-in details on their outfits right, so I'm still headscritching on that...)

maybe a few dolls later.... maaaaaybe? I'm still at the "gotta stop and redo that stitch" every few stitches point, and I lose track of the counting parts of things so fast it makes my head spin, and I'd have to sit down and plot that out row by row and right now I'm so tired that thought makes me want to just curl up in a ball and cry. So, no torturing myself with something that sounds miserable instead of fun. ^^;;;

	nah, see, Hello Sephiroth wouldn't have a mouth. Just a little stitched-in X. ;D ...also a small pink bow around one of the pfoingy standing-up bangs.
